Whitefield Brothers – Safari Strut
This one's a bit on the same slow burn African funk tip as "Psychedelic Woman", but it's by far the very best funk band working on this ball of dirt today, the (motherfuckin) Whitefield Brothers. "Motherfuckin" is not officially part of their name, but it's implicit in everything they do. And I don't know if they're really brothers. I think they're from Germany. Their earlier stuff is more straight up Amerikan Funk, but it's all _KICK_ _ASS_.
